I am honored to welcome all visitors to the website of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beirut- Lebanese Republic.
We seek for our embassy’s website to contribute to providing information about the State of Qatar, its history, culture, and its achievements in all fields, as well as introducing visitors to an overview of the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and Lebanon, in addition to highlighting the Embassy’s activities and events.
The website also includes information about consular services provided by the embassy and links related to investment and business opportunities in both countries.
The bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Lebanese Republic are close historical relations built on the foundations of brotherhood and cooperation and have witnessed remarkable growth and development that include political, economic and commercial fields, in addition to cooperation in the oil and energy sector.
In conclusion, we hope that this website will constitute a space for communication, as the embassy welcomes inquiries and suggestions from distinguished visitors, and we look forward to it being a reference for services and information, asking God Almighty to guide us in what is in the interest and good of our dear country.

Ambassador of the state of Qatar to Lebanon since August 2023.

He has served as the acting General Coordinator of the Qatar Armed Forces in 2017 and as the Officer Coordinator of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (Riyadh) 2014.

One of the most important tasks undertaken by Ambassador Sheikh Saoud in the Ministry of Defense as the Director of the International Military Cooperation (from 2010 to 2016) with the global coalition Britain – America – France.

He has previously worked as the Liaison Officer in the CENTCOM in Tampa in the United States of America from 2004 to 2007.

The military experience of Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Faisal Al-Thani at the Qatar Emiri Air Force started in 1989 included occupying several positions such as being a fighter pilot on aircraft (Strike Master BAK 167- Hawk Mk2-Alpha Jet) and helicopter pilot (Gazelle-Sea King MK3 and MK2). His experience extended to include working as a flight instructor at the Qatar Emiri Air Force.
